 RIVERWALK AND DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Not a bed and breakfast or a San Antonio hotel, KW House is our
downtown, private “in town” home we use when we are in San
Antonio from the ranch: it is a vacation home designed for
extended stays, business travel, families and yes, pets may
stay, too.
The Riverwalk is one block from the house so all downtown
attractions, conventions, events at the Alamodome, shopping,
museums, theater and entertainment are just a 10 minute walk
from the house.
Should you prefer to ride, KW House is 3 short blocks to the San
Antonio downtown trolley. Our home is not part of “The Great
Stays of Texas” (HAT) or any other inspected organization as it
is our personal home.
VACATION HOME FEATURES
KW House has 2 bedrooms, one full bath, a new light wood
kitchen, dining area with built-ins and a living room with cable
television, a V.C.R., telephone and a wireless, high-speed Internet
connection. Guests who stay at the KW House indicate their stays
are happy; comfortable and find the location ideal.
NOT A BED AND BREAKFAST INN
Our house is furnished. Everything is included for your vacation
home stay. This includes bed linens, towels, all kitchen
equipment, clock radio, hair dryer, and about everything you

AT HOME IN THE KING WILLIAM HISTORIC DISTRICT
Off street parking is available behind the wrought iron fence
separating the front yard from the public sidewalk. The back
yard is separately fenced so children and pets are safe. Enjoy
the historic neighborhood: mansions and tree lined streets to
stroll, unique restaurants, shops and one-of-a-kind live
theatres and the Riverwalk and parks. Walk, hike, jog or run –
the area is shaded and scenic.

Tower of the Americas, Hemisphere Plaza,

SPORTS
Golf is within about a 5 mile drive, the YMCA is within a mile
or so, and venturing further: Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe
River: fishing, boating, jet and water skiing, tubing, kayaking,
canoeing, swimming at the beach, picnics and more water oriented
activities.
FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD
The hub of all San Antonio highways is located near the KW
House. This means all of San Antonio is within about a 20 minute
ride.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas,
Sea World,
The Shops at La Cantera, are within a 15 minute drive. A bit
further,
Natural Bridge Caverns, The Safari Park and the best
water park in the USA,
Schlitterbahn are all easily accessible
within 15-30 minute drives.
THE TEXAS HILL
COUNTRY
With a car, explore Canyon Lake, Gruene, and New Braunfels, the
discount malls at
San Marcos,
Wimberley,
Blanco,
Fredericksburg and
Boerne. Each is an easy day-trip from the
KW House.
PHOTOGRAPHS
RATES
$1800 – 2300 per month (Texas does not tax monthly rentals). All
utilities (electric, telephone, cable TV, high-speed wireless
Internet access) are included in the rental.
SERVICES
Towels and bed lines are changed weekly with a light “fluff”.
Additional cleaning is available at extra charge when available.
POLICIES
30 to 60 day cancellation policies are in effect. Reservations
require a 50% deposit by credit card. Reservations cancelled
before the cancellation period is fully refunded minus a $50
service fee. Reservations cancelled within the cancellation
period are ONLY charged if the reservation cannot be rebooked.
Your reservation indicates acceptance of our cancellation
policy. While we do not charge a security deposit in advance,
completing a reservation indicates that you accept
responsibility for damage and may be charged if the house is not
left in good condition with all dishes and pots clean and left
as you found them.

"My wife and I
had a very delightful six week stay in the King William
House, on King William St., in the very center of the
renowned San Antonio historic district of King William.
Our hosts Robbi and Dan Boone were outstandingly friendly
and accommodating in every respect and it was truly a
pleasure to get to know them as friends and even as
landlords.
The KW House is nestled right in the middle of the
historical neighborhood, one or two blocks from fine
restaurants, and one block from the San Antonio river that
winds its way thru the famous Alamo River-Walk landmark,
brimming with enjoyable restaurants and entertainment-all
within easy/fun walking distance of the KW House.
As mentioned, the river is one block away, and every
morning we walked along the pathways on each side of the
river, feeding the ducks, and enjoying the fresh air and
conversations with others who were out for a stroll; just
truly delightful, and security issues definitely were not
a problem, even late at night. Nice!
Within short blocks of the KW House are all the basic
necessity-stores to easily facilitate your visit, and
10-15 minutes drive away are all the well known shopping,
entertainment, and fine restaurant areas of greater San
Antonio. Within an hour-or-so drive are several
interesting and fun historical cities in the "Hill
Country" area just north of San
Antonio.
Try not to miss them; Robbi and Dan can fill you in on all
